A certificate will be sent to those folks logging N4V per instructions on QRZ page. Bands operated will be 10, 15, 20, 40, and 80m voice in the General Class portion to allow more contacts.
NOTES ABOUT THE VIETNAM WAR:
The Vietnam War started in March 1959.
The fall of Saigon happened 30 April 1975, two years AFTER the American military left Vietnam.
The last American troops departed in their entirety 29 March 1973.
A North Vietnamese tank crashed the gates of Independence Palace at 11:30 am local time and the Viet Cong flag was raised.
The South Vietnamese president surrendered and the Vietnam War was officially over.
The Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC contains over 58,000 names of service men and women who died in Vietnam.
