From My Brother – Raising grandkids right
by AJ4GT on Dec.31, 2009, under Club Information
My new Grandson just arrived this morning, 7lbs 2oz, and 20 inches.
I have already got him a copy of FCC rules and will teach him the important
stuff in life like CW , radio theory, proper operating procedures, how to
build antennas and to stay away from evil stuff like Astron power supplies
and Crush Craft antennas.

BSA Merit Badge Day
by AJ4GT on Dec.20, 2009, under Club Information
Guys,
Congratulations to those of you who completed the EMCOMM 01 class last Saturday. Now you are deplorable. HI (LOL)
I responded to Mike Denny and told him we would support Merit Badge Day again this year. It will be held on March 20, in Griffin at the Spalding High School. Same deal as last year. We can discuss this at the January SCARC meeting.
If you did not receive the informational e-mail from Mike Denny let me know and I will forward it to you. If you all don’t mind, I’ll respond to him for the group; less confusion that way. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns please let me know.
Thanks again for assisting with this worthwhile club project. I believe this is the 5th (right Roy?) year we have been involved.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families!
