National Night Out Tuesday September 7th
by AJ4GT on Aug.30, 2010, under Club Information
Good Morning Everyone!
National Night Out is coming up on Tuesday September 7th. It will be from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Target Shopping Center. We like to have a few CERT volunteers out with us every year to help promote the CERT program. If you are interested in volunteering to sit at our CERT table for 30 minutes to an hour or even for the whole event please let me know. This is a huge community event that is held nation wide every year, local businesses, as well as local government departments are out with individual promotions and there is a lot of free giveaways, food, games, and usually some live music too. We hope to see you there, make sure to pass the word around to your family and friends!!

The Newton County Radio Club has a speaker scheduled for next Tuesday evening and members of the Southern Crescent Radio Club are invited. Jim. K4DOI, has arranged for a guest speaker to make a presentation on the new Georgia Gun Laws with a Q&A session to follow. The meeting will be held at the Newton County Sheriff’s Office at 1830 hours. I know we have a lot of gun owners in the club and this should be very informative. If you need directions or have any question, let me know.
